I have an interdisciplinary degree in art, psychology and human behavior from Marylhurst University. I use this degree in my work at Volunteers of America’s Women’s Residential Center for treatment of drugs and alcohol. I facilitate art classes there for women. I also work as an art program facilitator for the Geezer Gallery serving our senior community. As an artist I create jewelry and large kinetic sculptures from a unique material that I developed. This material is feather weight and allows air currents to move the pieces in a dance that’s mesmerizing.  Color and motion have a calming effect much like fish moving in an aquarium. It is my goal to positively affect people through my art.
